Beacon Community Services is an organization committed to delivering quality support services to people with disabilities.

Our vision is to create a safe and healthy environment where clients are empowered to create their desired lifestyles while working with a specialized team of staff who support their independent living choices.

Beacon Community Services is a health care provider that offers community supported living services to people with developmental disabilities. We are an entity of Cooperating Community Programs, Inc. (CCP), an organization that has been providing services to people with disabilities since 1979. Currently, Beacon has supported living programs located in the cities of St. Paul, St. Anthony, Brooklyn Center, and Robbinsdale.
Beacon is a unique entity of CCP due to the fact that we are the smallest in size. We are committed to staying small because we believe that in order to ensure consistent quality in the services we deliver, we need to focus on the clients we currently serve rather than focusing on growth opportunities and expansion.
All of our Program Managers/QMRPs work out of an office located in each home, and they not only have an active role as the supervisor of the home, but they are also directly involved in the day-to-day lives of each client. Additionally, Beacon has designed its organization to have a flat administrative structure, which has enabled every administrative staff member working out of our central office to have an active role in our clients lives. All of our Administrative Staff worked in various positions as Direct Support Professionals and Program Directors in the past, and as a result, they have brought with them unique insights and perspectives to their responsibilities of managing the entire organization.

Beacon Community Services designs services for people with Mental Retardation and Related Conditions, Mental Illness, and Dual Diagnoses. We are a licensed health care provider that provides Adult Foster Care services and Home and Community based waivered services to adults with developmental disabilities in Ramsey and Hennepin Counties.
